Then they reached the top of Durham Hill, he got down on one knee, and she said yes.
It was such a happy and emotional moment. The surprise, the laughter and the excitement were all completely real. Photographing it from a little distance allowed the couple to stay present with each other while I captured the story as it unfolded.
