Thank you for popping by! I’m Monika, a mum and family photographer who recently relocated to the beautiful Newcastle Upon Tyne after six years in London as a full-time photographer.
I offer natural and relaxed lifestyle photography for families in Nort East and beyond. My photoshoots are laid-back and can take place in your home, outdoors in a local park, or by the seaside!
During our session, we have a jolly good time laughing, playing, tickling, and enjoying some quality moments with your loved ones. It’s all about capturing those genuine emotions, love, connections, and those sweet in-between moments.

BEFORE YOU SESSION
A deposit will secure your booking, and you’ll complete a quick questionnaire to help me understand your expectations. You’ll also receive a handy prep guide with tips on what to wear and how to prepare, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
DURING SESSION
My goal is to create a stress-free and fun atmosphere during your photoshoot, capturing beautiful and timeless keepsakes that you’ll treasure for years to come. I will provide guidance on how to pose and offer gentle direction, but we’ll keep things relaxed and natural.
AFTER SESSION
You’ll receive a little sneak peek within two days. Then, I’ll carefully select and edit the best photographs. Your beautiful online gallery will be ready within three weeks. You’ll also have the option to order high quality, locally handcrafted albums, prints, and wall art.

What should we wear for our photoshoot?
Clothing can make or break a shoot, so it’s a good idea to choose items that complement each other. Opt for plain, muted-tone clothing in neutral or earthy colours. Stick with simple, classic, timeless outfits that won’t steal the spotlight from your family. After booking, I’ll share a prop guide with additional tips for achieving the best photos
Is my house suitable for a family photoshoot?
Your home is perfect just as it is! We don’t need much, just access to some windows for natural light. Whether your home is a studio apartment or a grand mansion, it’s ideal for capturing beautiful moments with your family. Embracing your home as part of the images will make them even more special and personal to you.
What if it is raining?
Living by the beautiful North England seaside, we’re no strangers to rain and wind – they add to our unique charm! If there’s a light drizzle, let’s have a playful photoshoot. For heavy rain or strong winds, we can find a better day. We can also capture meaningful moments in your home for a special touch
What if we get ill?
No worries, we are only people and things like that might happen. If you or anyone in your family falls ill before the scheduled photo session, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule.
What if I am camera shy?
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Many people feel that way. But don’t let it stop you from capturing sweet memories with your family. I’ll help you relax and feel comfortable so that I can capture your best side without any awkward posing.
What is the best time of the day for the photoshoot?
The best time for an outdoor photo session is typically early in the morning or late in the evening, when the natural light is soft and diffuse. For in-home sessions, mid-morning is typically a good time to schedule.It’s also important to keep in mind the needs of any children who will be participating in the session, and to schedule the session at a time when they are rested, fed, and happy.
