Located just a stone’s throw from the city centre, it combines beauty and tranquillity in a way that’s hard to resist. As you step into the park, you’ll immediately notice its charming pond, where graceful swans glide across the water. The colourful flower beds burst with life, while the winding paths invite you to take a leisurely stroll. Adding to its charm is the classic Victorian bandstand, which serves as a wonderful focal point. For families, the cosy picnic area provides an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. With its picturesque scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and vibrant character, it’s no wonder I adore photographing here!
A Summer Family Photoshoot at Leazes Park
This session felt extra special as I captured a wonderful family of five during the golden hour. The occasion? Celebrating the parents’ 10th wedding anniversary! The parents, so deeply in love, brought along their three beautiful daughters, who were all glowing with excitement. Since summer is the perfect season for a photoshoot at Leazes Park, everything worked together seamlessly. With the park in full bloom, the warm and dreamy lighting, and the magical atmosphere, it couldn’t have been better.
We ventured through various charming spots within the park, moving from the vibrant flower beds to the enchanting pond and finally to the iconic bandstand. Each location offered its own unique charm, adding variety and excitement to the session. We captured a wonderful mix of moments: the whole family laughing together, sweet portraits of the sisters, playful interactions with the children, and romantic shots of the parents celebrating their love. Every photograph radiated happiness, connection, and pure joy, making this session a truly unforgettable experience.
