Hello, I’m Monika, a mum and natural light couples & engagement photographer, happily settled in Newcastle upon Tyne after six years as a full-time family photographer in London. With hundreds of sessions behind me, I bring a calm, confident approach and a wealth of experience to every shoot.

BEFORE YOU SESSION
Contact me to choose the perfect package, date, and location for your newborn session. A deposit will secure your booking, and you’ll complete a quick questionnaire to help me understand your expectations. You’ll also receive a handy prep guide with tips on what to wear and how to prepare, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
DURING SESSION
My goal is to create a stress-free and fun atmosphere during your photoshoot, capturing beautiful and timeless keepsakes that you’ll treasure for years to come. I will provide guidance on how to pose and offer gentle direction, but we’ll keep things relaxed and natural.
AFTER SESSION
You’ll receive a little sneak peek within two days. Then, I’ll carefully select and edit the best photographs. Your beautiful online gallery will be ready within three weeks. You’ll also have the option to order high quality, locally handcrafted albums, prints, and wall art.

What if we are shy and feel awkward posing?
Don’t fret if you’re a bit shy or feel awkward when it comes to posing for photos – you’re in good company! I totally get it because I’ve been there too. I’ll make every effort to ensure you’re relaxed and enjoying the photo session. I’ll offer some friendly tips on posing and create chances for you to be yourself, so we can capture those real, heartfelt moments.
What should we wear for our photoshoot?
Clothing can make or break a shoot, so it’s a good idea to choose items that complement each other. Opt for plain, muted-tone clothing in neutral or earthy colours. Stick with simple, classic, timeless outfits that won’t steal the spotlight. After booking, I’ll share a prop guide with additional tips for achieving the best photos.
What if it is raining?
Living by the beautiful North England seaside, we’re no strangers to rain and wind – they add to our unique charm! If there’s a light drizzle, let’s have a playful photoshoot. For heavy rain or strong winds, we can find a better day. We can also capture meaningful moments in your home for a special touch.
What is the best time of the day for the photoshoot?
The best time for an outdoor photo session is typically early in the morning or late in the evening, when the natural light is soft and diffuse. For in-home sessions, mid-morning is typically a good time to schedule.
